SPEAKING RECORD TIME

Speaking Record Time is a fantastic dynamic (by David Talavera) for students to improve their communication skills in English. The steps to put into practice this activity are:

a) Start up a chronometer.
b) Communicate in English.
c) Stop the chronometer if pupils speak Spanish.
d) Write their time on the blackboard.
e) Repeat the procedure.
f) Give children three oppotunities to improve their time in every class (1:... 2:... 3:...).
g) Select and write the highest time on a paper to continue improving in the next class.
